HE ISAACS NOMINATED FOR DOVE AWARD FOR “BLUEGRASS SONG OF THE YEAR” FOR “LEAVE IT ON THE ALTAR” OFF THEIR 2013 RELEASE THE LIVING YEARS

The Isaacs are nominated for a Dove Award for “Bluegrass Song of the Year” for “Leave It All On The Altar” from their 2013 release The Living Years.
“When Bill and Gloria Gaither and Buddy Green team up to write a song, you pay attention when it’s pitched to you!” Sonya Isaacs said. “We instantly loved this song and were so grateful for the chance to cut it. Getting a Dove nomination is always an incredible feeling, but it’s even more rewarding because these writers, some of our dearest friends, will be nominated too. We are thrilled! Thank you GMA!”
The Isaacs, the award winning family group composed of mother Lily Isaacs and siblings Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary amd Rebecca Isaacs Bowman, have won five Dove Awards and multiple Grammy nominations throughout their 35-year singing career. The group has been honored by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and the Inspirational Country Music Awards (ICMAs) and have performed with lengendary performers, such as Dolly Parton, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Paul Simon, Vince Gill and many more.
The Isaacs are set to release “Nature’s Symphony in 432: A Nature From Pain To Praise” on September 2 on Daywind Records. Produced by Terry Bradshaw, the project is recorded in 432 tuning, the frequency which most closely reflects the sounds found in nature, further setting this 15-song collection apart from other recorded albums.
