Nation’s only privately owned, operated and maintained intercity passenger rail service will debut quarterly magazine “Go” on all trains and platforms in partnership with PPI Group
Brightline, Florida’s hospitality-focused express, intercity passenger rail service, will unveil its first-ever onboard magazine, Go, this winter in partnership with global custom publisher, PPI Group. Aimed at delivering compelling editorial content for today’s passengers, from in-depth features to useful columns with insider tips on where to shop and dine, the inaugural issue will appear on all platforms and trains in December 2018.
Go magazine will be an important part of Brightline’s on-board guest experience and will initially feature information on the best South Florida has to offer in shopping, fashion, hotels, restaurants and events. The magazine will be exclusively distributed within Brightline stations and in seatback pockets of Brightline’s higher-speed trains. Each issue of Go will extend past its print reach with digital distribution through the GoBrightline App and website, which guests can access on their mobile devices. The magazine and GoBrightline App will also provide passengers with important information including train service schedules, ticket information and travel tips.
“Go is a major step in establishing Brightline as a key South Florida lifestyle brand,” said Johanna Rojas, vice president of marketing for Brightline. “We’ll feature information that is important and relevant for our guests, from reviews of artisanal breweries to gallery openings, music festivals to unique boutiques.”
Brightline aims at building a curated customer experience through Go magazine, with future plans to offer pre-loaded tablets with custom content for use by passengers traveling in Select service.
Go will be produced by PPI Group, a top travel publication company in Fort Lauderdale with special expertise in the travel industry.
“We’re excited to work on the new magazine as it will be a great resource for the many passengers projected to experience Brightline’s railway service,” said Bill Panoff, PPI Group’s chief executive officer. “Brightline is the future of travel in South Florida and it is already revolutionizing the way people move around South Florida.”
Brightline currently connects the downtowns of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach with future service to Orlando and eventually Tampa. Its stations are located within walking distance or a short Lyft ride away from each city’s main cultural or government attractions.
